Hunts Mesa and Canyon de Chelley, Arizona

Thank you for your interest in Jack Graham Photo Workshops

Our photography workshops are designed for the nature and outdoor photographer, no matter what level. Each workshop is planned to provide ample time in the field to work on your photography skills while interacting with nature. You can expect to experience landscape, close up and some action photography during our time together. Itineraries are designed to take the weather, light conditions and the best photographic opportunities into consideration. We hope you will join us on one of our events very soon!

I am pleased to announce this exciting trip to Hunt’s Mesa and Canyon de Chelley.  September is the best time to be in this part of the world — the summer crowds are gone and the temperatures are very comfortable out in the field. Seeing a sunrise from Hunt’s Mesa is simply amazing!!!  We’ll take in sunrises and sunsets in Chinle, AZ, the home of Canyon de Chelley, for a day on the rims of the canyons and a day deep inside each canyon photographing the beauty, ruins and wonders found in this magical area.

The road up to Hunt’s Mesa is very rough. However there are outstanding photographic opportunities at every turn. We’ll take full advantage of these!  It takes 2 to 2.5 hours to drive to the top of Hunt’s Mesa.  Once we are on top of the mesa we will spend our afternoon taking imagery and hope for a great sunset!  After sundown we will go into our camp for a hot supper.  For the best photos we will camp overnight on the mesa.

All of our workshops will be attended by owners of the Fujifilm “X” System cameras and lenses. The workshops are not, however, dedicated to only Fujifilm “X” camera shooters. All are encouraged to attend!

More details regarding travel, what to bring, and accommodation will be sent to you after registration. Accommodation is not included in the workshop cost. Click here if you want to know what we’ll be working on, and click here for general information on what to bring.
