Route 66 – Oklahoma City to Las Vegas

Thank you for your interest in Jack Graham Photo Workshops

Our photography workshops are designed for the nature and outdoor photographer, no matter what level. Each workshop is planned to provide ample time in the field to work on your photography skills while interacting with nature. You can expect to experience landscape, close up and some action photography during our time together. Itineraries are designed to take the weather, light conditions and the best photographic opportunities into consideration. We hope you will join us on one of our events very soon!

Come on and join Jack Graham and Bill Fortney in March 2018 for a photography trip into American’s past. Driving the 6 states from Oklahoma City to Las Vegas on the old Route 66 is the ultimate Americana trip down memory lane!

We will all meet in Oklahoma City and travel Route 66 through Oklahoma into the Texas panhandle (Amarillo) and on through New Mexico, Arizona and California, finally ending in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We’ll have plenty of time to photograph areas that time has left behind, most in their original splendor.

Once in the Las Vegas area we’ll drive down just past Henderson to Nelson Ghost Town and end our tour with a visit to the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, all in eight great days of photography and fellowship!  We will stay in two historic hotels on Route 66 and enjoy some of the best American food along the Mother Road!

You never know what you’ll find on Route 66!   Buildings from a time left behind, great murals, old gas stations and other endless subjects provide lots of material for us to create images.

We’ll be covering a few hundred miles per day but will make lots of great image as well. This is a photography tour and is a little different from one of our typical workshops. Jack and Bill will work with all of you in the field, however our classroom time will be at a minimum as we are traveling by car daily while making frequent stops for photography.

Please consider joining us to experience some of America’s history still preserved in its natural state along Route 66. Yes … We’ll get our kicks on Route 66!
