The feeling of the Wild West, Bill Hickok and Wyatt Earp surrounds you when you explore the South Dakota Badlands Region.
The Badlands offers the photographer a strong landscape opportunity with colorful graphic designs everywhere you turn. From rolling tree filled hills and sweeping meadows of brown tall prairie grass, to steep dramatic rock formations, this is a photographer’s paradise.
Along with the wildlife of Custer State Park, home of the largest herd of bison in America, and the National Grassland … the Badlands area has it all. We may even get into a waterfall or two! Nearby is Mount Rushmore and the majestic Black Hills, all surrounded by countless Americana shooting opportunities.
In addition, we’ll be doing our usual photo workshop presentations and image review sessions. You don’t want to miss this one! Come along with us on a true Western photographic adventure.
All of our workshops will be attended by owners of the Fujifilm “X” System cameras and lenses. The workshops are not, however, dedicated to only Fujifilm “X” camera shooters. All are encouraged to attend!
Easy to moderate. There is little strenuous hiking required. If you have question regarding your ability to be part of this experience in South Dakota, please contact my office.
Upon registration you’ll receive a complete PDF file containing everything you need to know concerning lodging, transportation, etc. for this workshop. Accommodation is not included in the workshop cost. Click here if you want to know what we’ll be working on, and click here for general information on what to bring.
