In April 2022 Jack Graham and Bill Fortney will travel to the beautiful and historic SHAKER VILLAGE in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Shaker Village is a landmark destination that shares 3,000 acres of discovery in the spirit of the Kentucky Shakers. With 34 original Shaker structures, the site is home to the country’s largest private collection of original 19th century buildings This diverse area, Shaker Village is beautiful and very intriguing Historical Park. We will photograph both the inside and outside of these historic features. The buildings are surrounded by 3000 acres of forests, prairies, and wetlands. There is plenty of Americana, architectural images, and crafts to photograph here. The nearby beautiful rolling hills of Kentucky also offers endless photographical opportunities. Selected horse farms and perhaps some other historical sites here in Kentucky will also be on our agenda.
