Blue Ridge Parkway
In May 2023 Jack Graham and Bill Fortney will once again be heading up to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain, in North Carolina for some amazing photography. At 5945’, Grandfather Mountain is the crown jewel of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is the highest peak along the amazingly beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Dramatic cliffs and rugged terrain are common and allows for some magnificent photographical experiences anywhere. Attractions like the swinging bridge and overlooks are just a small part of the overall experience. Additionally, a wildlife compound is nearby as an added extra attraction. Spanning the southern and central Appalachians, the Blue Ridge Parkway offers an exceptional glimpse of the regional flora and fauna. It is world-renowned for its biodiversity. More details regarding travel, what to bring, and accommodation will be sent to you after registration. Accommodation is not included in the workshop cost. Although the workshop begins on May 18th, we will meet the night before for a Meet and Greet on May 17th to discuss our itinerary, logistics and get to know one another.
