ONE OPENING LEFT!
Eastern Sierra (24th Annual), with Jack Graham and Guy Tal
October 5-8, 2017 | $1,395.00
Please consider this beautiful Eastern Sierra photo workshop in October 2017, and experience the majesty of the fall color and the astonishing landscape of the area. Once again I’ll be teaming up with my good friend and photographer extraordinaire Guy Tal, to bring you the best workshop experience. This will be my 24th year conducting my workshop in this location and after years of experience, I know where to go. We’ll visit some of the well-known, iconic places, as well as many places off the beaten path.
If I had one place to photograph it would be here. Not only will we be photographing the vistas and rock formations of the Alabama Hills that are over 150 million years old, we’ll see Mono Lake (spending two mornings and a sunset there to ensure we get the best sunrise images possible), the White Mountains, and the town of Bodie, once a booming mining town that went bust. Today it’s a genuine ghost town that’s in very good shape and offers endless photographic possibilities.
We’ll see the oldest living species on the planet—the Ancient Bristlecone Pines, beautiful mountain streams and aspen groves, sure to be in full grandeur when we arrive. This time of the year is the prime time for fall color.
We will meet at 6 pm at the Dow Villa Motel in Lone Pine, CA on October 4 for an hour or so to go over itineraries and workshop goals. The workshop will end at noon on Sunday morning in Lee Vining, California.
More details regarding travel, what to bring, and accommodation will be sent to you after registration. Accommodation is not included in the workshop cost. Click here if you want to know what we’ll be working on, and click here for general information on what to bring.
