Image Reviews on YouTube!!    If you are a listener to our podcast, you may know that we’ve started a companion We Talk Photo YouTube channel.  We are recording each podcast both in audio and now in video and posting the video to our new channel.  If you haven’t seen it yet, please visit it by clicking HERE and subscribing to the channel.  Our most recent video is talking about “design thinking” in photography and we took the time to review a few of Johns images to talk about what this means and how you could apply it in your own photography.

As part of this new video channel, one of the activities we would like to do is receive images from listeners and do an image review of them on the video-cast.  Of course we will not use any names or personal information, but would like to use your actual images to teach and talk about the finer points of photography.

If you’ve ever been on one of mine, or Johns, workshops, you know that we spend some time during the workshop to do image reviews and provide constructive feedback about how an image could be improved, or not, in the hopes that each attendee can come away from the experience with a greater understanding of the nuances of what makes a good image great. We want to bring this same experience to you at home by doing image reviews on YouTube.

We would like to start a continuing series where we regularly review images and talk about what works and what doesn’t work so well in an image.  If you would like to be a part of this, we would LOVE to have you submit 1-3 images to us for inclusion in a future episode. These can be images that you know are winners, or ones you have questions on, or ones that just you don’t know what to do with. We’ll take whatever you are willing to share and have us talk about.   Images do not have to be processed or resized or anything, we will take them in whatever format you want to send.

To submit images, please send them to wetalkphoto@gmail.com.   If you would like to include notes or comments specific to images, please feel free to do that as well.     We will pick up the images and include them in an upcoming episode of a We Talk Photo video.

Thanks for giving this some consideration and I hope to see some of the amazing work that I know you all do!
